The George Hotel, Swaffham (or should that be Market Shipborough?)
Located in the historic market town of Swaffham the George Hotel is an ideal base to explore the North Norfolk coast including the Sandringham estate and Walsingham.
Recently, the George Hotel played host to the crew and cast of Kingdom, the new ITV drama based in Swaffham, otherwise known as Market Shipborough. Star Stephen Fry recommended Swaffham to the producers, citing market towns as "more revealing of what Britain is like than a city is". Locations used within Swaffham include Oakleigh House (as the offices of Kingdom and Kingdom) and the Greyhound pub (renamed "The Startled Duck"), amongst others.
